Aleksandrov Road

Twenty modern “retinue warriors” took part in this challenging reenactment. They faced a 37-day journey on horseback—and an unusual trip 800 years into the past. The route began in Pereslavl-Zalessky, in the native lands of Alexander Nevsky, and ended on the shores of Lake Peipus.
