The events unfold in Russia at the beginning of the 21st century. Ten years have passed since Korenyov, also known as Fox, launched a major fight against the criminal underworld in his hometown. Now, the law enforcement officer takes on the investigation of an unusual crime: a criminal boss nicknamed Cross has been attacked. Soon, he manages to obtain information that the case involves a stolen criminal «common fund». One of those involved in the attack on Cross is Uzhakh Aduyev, the son of Chechen General Aduyev, who was taken into custody not long ago. Uzhakh plans to free his father and carry out a horrific terrorist attack that will affect the entire population of a large city.
