A crime drama by director Igor Tverdokhlebov tells the story of how a single incident can change an entire life. At the center of the plot is Alexey Voronov, a brilliant cash-out specialist who, in an attempt to escape pursuit, comes up with a daring plan. He decides to set up Yura Afanasyev—a provincial loser who bears an astonishing physical resemblance to him—to take his place. However, the carefully devised scheme goes awry: Voronov is kidnapped, while Afanasyev is miraculously saved by the security guards, who mistake him for the real boss. A completely new life now opens up before Yura—he must not only take someone else’s spot in a luxurious apartment, but also learn to be another person. The main intrigue revolves around how an ordinary guy will grow into the role of a brilliant con artist while evading the traps of criminal networks, corrupt officials, and law enforcement officers. At the same time, he gets a chance at last to touch the luxurious life he has always dreamed of.
