The cartoon takes place in present-day Saint Petersburg. Schoolchildren Artyom, Kira, Viktor, and Filipp find a mysterious laptop that opens a portal to the universe of the game “Heroes of Envell.” The kids find themselves in a world inhabited by magical creatures, where villains are trying to enslave everyone. In an instant, ordinary children become defenders of a fairy-tale kingdom. They must save this land from the powerful wizard Morgart and his loyal assistant Salamander. At first, the heroes do not believe what is happening, but gradually they realize that an important mission rests on their shoulders.
But no one has canceled school lessons. Classes follow the schedule, and the kids have to divide their time between two worlds, playing opposing roles. In the magical land, they are valiant heroes, while in reality they are merely children who do their homework and are supervised by their parents.
