Tatiana has everything she ever dreamed of: her beloved and loving husband Viktor, with whom she has happily lived for fifteen years; her young son Dima; and the family business—a cozy old hotel called «Sofia», located in a picturesque rural area. On the day Tanya and Viktor celebrate their wedding anniversary, a demanding guest, Roman Polishchuk, arrives at the hotel. The courteous hostess quickly wins the guest’s favor, unaware of the true purpose of his visit. Polishchuk intends to purchase «Sofia» in order to acquire the land for his business. And it is not the kind of offer one can refuse without consequences. Tanya turns for help to her longtime admirer, Slava, a successful lawyer from the capital, and enters an unequal battle. Other people’s schemes, betrayal, and a family tragedy force Tanya to start over from scratch.
