The Series takes place in 1917, shortly after Rasputin’s murder. Rasputin’s close associates and even members of the royal family help him in the investigation, but each has a personal attitude toward this mysterious man. Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, on the one hand, respects him immensely, while on the other, Switten notices something resembling fear.
