Roman and Elena are a happily married couple who set off for Novosibirsk in search of a new life. On the way, their car overturns, causing Roman to fall into a coma and Lena to lose her memory. The couple’s parents, who have always opposed this marriage, decide to separate the lovers and tell Roman that his wife has died.
Lena gives birth to a daughter, Anna, and lives with her husband Yegor. She works as a singer at a cabaret, where Roman happens to stop by while visiting his hometown for work. Lena does not recognize him and feels nothing for him, but Roman has no intention of giving up and wants to win back his wife’s love.
