The first crime occurred in the building on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment. The victim was an elderly woman living alone. In her youth, she had been a famous ballet dancer, so the crime could be attributed to an attempted robbery, but… nothing was missing from the apartment, and the detectives found no signs of a break-in.
