Prosecutor Andrei and his lawyer friend Veniamin continue working in the highest court—the Heavenly Court. Every day, they decide the fate of newly arrived souls: whether to send them to the Sector of Peace or the Sector of Reflection.
But the heroes face a new challenge from fate. Their department has come to the attention of the higher office, which sends a stern Inquisitor to conduct an inspection. Anyone who fails certification or breaks the rules must send themselves to the Sector of Reflection. The freedom-loving and ironic friends immediately fall out of favor with the inspectors, and now any error could cost Andrei and Venya their jobs.
