Brother and sister Karik and Valya are mischievous fidgets. They are very curious and brave, so they often get involved in all sorts of adventures, for which they get scolded. Once again, Karik and Valya decide to secretly sneak into the apartment of their neighbor, Professor Yenotov. There they find an unusual elixir and, of course, drink it right away. However, the children have no idea that the elixir is magical and shrinks people to the size of insects. Learning that the children have disappeared, Professor Yenotov immediately realizes what has happened, drinks the elixir himself, and sets off in search of the two little troublemakers.
