In Arodan, people are divided into the Named and those who have no names. The Two-Faced Goddess rules over all, bestowing gifts upon people in the form of caskets. Everyone has their own. What lies inside may turn out to be a great blessing or utter misfortune. Only the chosen ones—the Priceless Ones—can open the caskets.
Lika is one of them. But her gift has a serious flaw: she does not open caskets immediately, and she cannot open her own at all. One day, she is summoned to the palace to open the casket of the arrogant Prince Sevir. For some reason, he does not want this, but Lika must fulfill the agreement, or a deadly threat will loom over her and her family.
