For the former officer of an anti-extremism special unit, work had always been a matter of principle. His world falls apart when his own teenage son, with whom he had barely communicated since the divorce, is among those detained in connection with a terrorist attack plot. Suspended from duty and rejected by his family, the protagonist begins his own investigation to find out how his child became involved in a radical network. He must not only prove his son’s innocence, but also confront a system of recruiters manipulating young people. Along the way, his only ally is an old friend, a mullah, who helps draw a clear line between true faith and criminal ideology.
