The main character, Marina, works as a maid for a company that rents out apartments in Moscow by the day. Cleaning up after countless guests, she encounters the unappealing side of life in the capital, far removed from romance. Sloppy tourists leave a mess behind and move out amid scandals, men who come on business trips start fleeting relationships...
But one day Marina meets Igor, who warmly offers her some coffee. Over a cup of the invigorating drink, he tells her that he has come here to meet his daughter, whom he has not seen for many years, and that he is very worried. A mutual attraction arises between the two lonely people, but will they be able to make each other truly happy?
