Mysteries, intrigues, clues, and investigations with the most unexpected twists—all this awaits fans of the detective genre in the Series “Forensics,” directed by Oleg Maslennikov.
The Series’ characters are investigators and forensic experts who are always the first to arrive at the crime scene. Among them is Andrei Makarov (Aleksei Morozov), the new head of the Forensic Research Laboratory. Some may find this man overly self-confident and arrogant: facts are always what matter to Makarov, he is attentive to details and notices what his colleagues fail to see point-blank, thereby irritating them—especially at first. Andrei will have to learn to work not only with his team of forensic experts but also with the staff of the investigative department headed by investigator Bohdana Kovalska (Yana Sobolevska). Together, they will investigate the most difficult and convoluted crimes, many of which will be solved thanks to Makarov’s brilliance. However, for now, only one case remains the most important to him: the investigation concluded that his younger sister had become the accidental victim of a robbery a month and a half earlier, but Makarov himself thinks otherwise and intends to find Irina’s killer.
