Sergey Bezrukov in director Alexander Baranov’s “Russian folk detective” Series “The Precinct,” which tells the story of the exceptionally responsible and hardworking police officer Pavel Kravtsov and his beloved dog Caesar. Arriving to serve in the remote village of Anisovka, Kravtsov does not lose heart—the conscientious guardian of law and order will always find work to do.
In fact, he was exiled to Anisovka after Kravtsov arrested a criminal with very influential connections. The honest police officer was offered a choice: either resign voluntarily or leave the capital immediately. Having accidentally overheard a conversation between two women at a bus stop, Kravtsov learns that a police officer died in Anisovka under strange circumstances. Kravtsov has no doubts—he must go. Especially since his wife has left him, constantly dissatisfied that her husband is always working.
At first, Kravtsov deals with very minor matters: he calms down local drunks and helps villagers look for missing belongings. To solve a truly important case, he will have to build good relationships with all the residents of Anisovka—and that is the most difficult task.
