«This Kind of Program» is a comedic improvisational project by Sergey Orlov, in which viewers see how stand-up is born. The comedian comes out before the audience not with a finished show, but with drafts: notes from his phone, unfinished jokes, observations, and ideas that are still searching for their form. During the performance, Orlov talks through the material aloud, reacts to the audience, changes the openings, and tries different ways of delivering it. The comedy laboratory format makes it possible to follow how a raw thought gradually turns into workable stage material right before the viewers’ eyes.
