The Series «Enemy at the Gates» tells the story of investigator Zakhar Myatov. He was unjustly sentenced to execution, but in 1941 he is brought back to the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department to fight crime. The number of criminals rose sharply as German troops advanced toward the capital. Zakhar becomes the head of an operational group tasked with investigating a series of mysterious crimes. Soon, the hero discovers that a group of enemy saboteurs led by Pavel Tursunov is behind them. Pavel is driven by a desire to take revenge on Stalin for the death of his parents. Zakhar must stop Tursunov at all costs and put an end to the subversive activities that could affect the course of the war.
