At the age of 26, Émile learns from doctors a devastating diagnosis: he suffers from an early form of Alzheimer’s disease, which steadily destroys his memory. According to forecasts, he has no more than two years to live. The doctors suggest that he remain in the clinic under constant supervision, but he refuses. Not wanting to become a burden to his friends and family, he secretly buys a used motorhome and, barely believing in success, posts an online ad looking for a travel companion for the last journey of his life.
