Mark Levinsky (Daniil Vorobyov) was once a star of Moscow’s culinary scene, a chef with impeccable taste and an unbearable temperament. His virtuoso dishes inspired admiration, while his scandals drove people away: because of his hot temper and snobbery, Mark loses his job at a prestigious restaurant and becomes an outcast in the world of haute cuisine. Desperate, he decides to take a desperate step—open his own restaurant. He takes on as a partner the talented but inexperienced Aaron (Mark Eydelshteyn). Together, they challenge the capital’s restaurant elite, but face harsh reality: there is not enough money, and investors reject the «difficult» chef. In search of funds, Mark makes a fatal mistake—he takes money from a Serbian mafia clan. Now, in order to save his business and friends and family, he will have to walk a fine line: please his criminal patrons, keep the restaurant afloat, and not lose himself in the flames of other people’s ambitions.
