After her husband Pavel’s infidelity and their divorce, the personal life of the talented nurse Varya did not work out for a long time. She moved to Moscow, threw herself completely into her work, and raised a difficult child on her own. When she finally meets the man of her dreams from Germany, he asks her to move to his homeland with her son.
Varya and Sasha go to Pavel to obtain his consent for the child to travel abroad. While Varya tries to persuade her ex-husband to sign the papers, Sasha meets Yana, his father’s stepdaughter. After one of their meetings, the girl does not return home, and Sasha is taken into custody as the prime suspect.
