Major Kowalski is sent to the Russian-Finnish border. The former staff officer has a hard time here: the entire command staff seems to have forgotten all about military discipline!
However, the situation at the border seems quiet and peaceful only at first glance. Trained smuggler pigs run through the forest, and then a more serious problem arises—escaped convicts.
