A historical account of the Great Patriotic War, covering the period from 1941 to 1942. The city of Leningrad is encircled by a blockade. Residents are subjected to constant enemy air raids, as well as severe shortages of food and supplies, but the strength of spirit and courage of the city’s inhabitants help them not only survive, but also keep production going. Factories continue to operate. Shells and equipment are continuously sent to the front. Of all the possible ways to supply the city with provisions, only the «Road of Life» across the thin ice of the Gulf of Finland remains. It was this small stretch that the Germans left without the necessary control. The command is preparing a decisive breakthrough, but it is still a long way off… The feed consists of four episodes: "The Luga Line," "The Pulkovo Meridian," "The Leningrad Metronome," "Operation "Iskra".
