In the distant future, virtual reality has become as commonplace for people as ordinary reality. The alternative realm has been named «Darknet», and anything is possible there: people can rebuild their destinies, become anyone they want, and gain access to any pleasures. However, everything comes at a price. Even in a cybernetic society, the same laws apply, and if you die in Darknet, you die for real. How happy does such a future become? The characters seek an answer to this question.
Against the backdrop of the decline of the real world, neon-lit Darknet appears to be a technological paradise. The creators of the series recreated the favorite settings of cyberpunk classics, which have acquired their own distinctive flavor in the Russian context. Naturally, the bright exterior conceals the same desolation that surrounds people beyond the virtual space, so the heroes have to survive in both worlds.
