The first season of the Russian detective Series «SMERSH», which can be watched online in our internet cinema with free access, consists of four episodes and tells the story of the confrontation between intelligence agents of the Soviet Union and the Third Reich. The events of the Series begin in June 1941. Captain Georgy Volkov is assigned an important mission—to transport valuables and documents of special importance from Berlin to Moscow. However, war catches up with them on the way. The Germans intercept the train. Volkov manages to escape. His task now is to find his own people. However, the ruthless Abwehr agent Konrad von Butzow learns about Volkov. He begins hunting the Soviet intelligence officer, but capturing Volkov proves to be no easy task.
