The first season of the Russian drama Series «The Grocery Store No. 1 Case», which can be watched online in our internet cinema with free access, starting with any of its eight episodes, tells the story of the life of the director of a Moscow grocery store. The Series is set in 1980. Georgy Berkutov is the director of the «Yeliseyevsky» grocery store. During times of total shortage, the store supplied the best food products and delicacies to the tables of the party elite. In return, he received enormous sums of money, and not all of it made it into the store’s cash register. But everything comes to an end sooner or later. An active fight against corruption begins in the country. The KGB learns of Berkutov’s affairs and arrests him. Now only one thing awaits Berkutov: execution by firing squad. But that is only if he does not betray the officials who used the store’s services.
