The Russian melodramatic Series "Gulchatay" is devoted to the difficult fate of a charming 17-year-old girl from a small Asian village who dreams of becoming a nurse. A spark ignites between Gulchatay and Pavel, a Russian soldier, but by an unfortunate coincidence, Rustam—the son of Alisher, the unofficial master of the settlement—returns to the village at that very time. The self-confident "daddy's boy" immediately sets his sights on the beautiful Gulchatay and intends to marry her without delay. Realizing that he will not get the bride's consent, Rustam commits a despicable act, as a result of which Gulchatay's father is burdened with an enormous debt, and the only way for him to repay it is to give away his daughter. The Series "Gulchatay" is notable for its strong Asian flavor and superb cinematography, allowing viewers to enjoy the beauty of the open spots.
