Galina Semyonova had always dreamed of working for the police. An early pregnancy and separation from the father of her child could have put an end to her dream. Therefore, at the first opportunity, Galina leaves her son Ilya with her mother and goes to Moscow to study. After completing her studies, Galina begins working for the police, and when the war begins, she goes to the front.
