The story begins at a time when Margaret MacLeod’s life has been completely ruined. She is pursued by her former husband, has lost custody of her daughter, and has no means of subsistence left. She becomes the favorite of the entire European elite. And this continues until the outbreak of World War I, in which Mata Hari is destined to play a special role.
