At the Intercession Monastery in Moscow, where the relics of Saint Matrona are kept, the lines of those wishing to venerate her never end. In cold weather and rain, pilgrims carrying flowers stand before the city’s patroness to repent, pray, gain strength and inspiration. This project tells true stories of those who managed to receive answers from the saint to their most intimate questions about how to live and what to do in difficult situations—for example, when you have been treated unfairly, when your husband is looking at another woman, when problems torment friends and family, or when your children are ill. The program’s heroes will tell you how not to lose heart even in the most hopeless situations.
