One of the most famous and beautiful spots in northeastern Moscow—the Ostankino Museum-Estate—becomes the scene of tragic and even frightening events. The body of a young woman is discovered in the estate park; apparently, she was chosen as the victim of some sinister ritual. Rumors arise about the machinations of modern-day Satanists. Investigator Nastya Vyazemskaya, who has already proven herself an excellent specialist in historical mysteries and urban legends, is assigned to investigate what happened. Following the murdered girl, a man’s body is found in Ostankino Park. Nastya searches for the key to the crimes in old legends about Praskovya Zhemchugova, the famous serf actress of the Sheremetev counts.
