The legendary library of Ivan the Terrible, also known as Liberiya, was irretrievably lost many centuries ago… Or perhaps not entirely «irretrievably»? A history graduate and brilliant young investigator, Nastya Vyazemskaya can hardly believe her eyes when she discovers a page from an ancient manuscript once kept in Liberiya. The problem is that the astonishing find was seized… from a fresh corpse. The deceased worked as a security guard at an antique salon on Nikolskaya Street and died after falling from a ladder under mysterious circumstances. Nastya realizes that the key to his murder is the priceless manuscript, which is the subject of a brutal underground hunt.
