Successful real estate agent Nadya balances her work responsibilities with caring for her young son. Her ex-husband is not particularly eager to help and only keeps becoming a source of new problems: he pays child support irregularly and persistently suggests rekindling their relationship, as if he has forgotten about his new family. Tired of these complications, Nadya has given up trying to arrange her personal life.
But it seems that happiness finds her on its own when she gets stuck in a broken elevator with her client Mitya. The several hours they spend together spark a sincere feeling, and Nadya dives headfirst into the relationship.
But one day her beloved disappears, and soon becomes the prime suspect in the murder of his ex-wife.
