At the center of the plot of the first season of the Series are two female police officers for whom a special department has been created within the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Experienced investigator Olga Kirsanova and Lieutenant Elena Nikolaeva, an honors graduate of the police academy, are assigned only the most difficult cases—those their colleagues have been unable to solve and that are connected with female crime. Olga and Elena understand the motives that push women to commit crimes better than their male colleagues do.
