Mika and Madi live according to their own ambitions—they are building their careers and value their freedom, in no hurry to tie the knot or have children. However, their parents see the future differently: in their view, a strong family is something that should be created as soon as possible. Two longtime friends, firmly convinced that they are right, decide to take decisive action and arrange their children’s wedding, paying little heed to their wishes. Thus, the young couple find themselves drawn into a marriage they were not ready for. Taking on the unfamiliar roles of husband and wife, Mika and Madi try to balance their desire to preserve their personal independence with the need to maintain their relationships with their families.
