The first season of the Russian detective Series «Possessed», which can be watched online in our internet cinema with unrestricted access, starting with any of its twelve episodes, tells the story of a confrontation between a law enforcement officer and an imitator of the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. The plot of the Series begins when a maniac appears in Saint Petersburg, murdering prostitutes. He seeks to imitate Jack the Ripper in every way—the legendary maniac who killed several prostitutes in 1888. Nikolai Troitsky, a criminal investigation officer with the Saint Petersburg Main Internal Affairs Directorate, notices that his colleagues are not making much effort to solve the case and decides to launch his own investigation. During the investigation, he meets journalist Zhanna Klimenko. Joining forces, they decide to stop the brutal maniac once and for all.
