The four-episode Series tells the life story of the talented singer Alevtina Tolkacheva. She began her career in 1966, while still studying at the Institute of Culture. There she met her first husband, the leader of a jazz orchestra. However, their family life did not work out, while Alevtina embarked on a dizzying career as a performer of folk songs. She won the love of her fans and soon married for the second time. This time, nothing new happened, and the happiness did not last long. However, in her new marriage she gave birth to a child who became seriously ill after her separation from her second husband, and Alevtina had to fight for her son's life. At the same time, she never left the stage and endured all of life's hardships with dignity. For this, fate rewarded her with another chance to be happy.
