The Series «Help Yourself» tells the story of talented doctor Polina Orlova, who left her profession to become a housewife for the sake of her family and her husband, a government official. One day, her husband gets behind the wheel drunk and runs someone over. Yielding to his persuasion, Polina takes the blame and hopes for a suspended sentence. But in the end, the court sends her to prison for a year. After being released, the heroine learns that her husband has taken up with another woman and has no intention of giving her the children.
