The main character of the Series is a young woman named Vera. Having moved from Belarus, she gets a job as a maid in a luxurious mansion located in the elite settlement of «Paradise Corner». Only wealthy and successful people live here, and it would seem that there can be no crime here. However, Vera came here not merely to earn money. Her goal is to find her friend Lesya, who recently disappeared in this Paradise Corner. Concealing her true motives, Vera begins her own investigation and soon discovers that behind every fence in this elite settlement lie such dark secrets that, upon learning them, Lesya could easily have become a murder victim.
