Everything in the life of Katya, the main character, was going well: a good job, a wonderful husband, Valery, and an adorable daughter. Katya worked as a translator at a large company, while her husband was an outstanding surgeon. They knew neither hardship nor serious upheavals. But one day, Victoria came to see Valery, and somehow managed to charm him in just a few minutes. Their affair developed into a complicated relationship that Valery was unable to break off. Katya finds out that he is cheating on her and decides to leave her husband.
