On the outskirts of a small town lives old woman Serafima, known not only among adults but also among children, who are always making up different tales about her. According to a popular rumor, Serafima keeps a huge ancient chest filled with treasure—gold, diamonds, and furs—in her house. One day, young Sashka, who lives near Serafima’s mysterious little house, decides to find the legendary chest that has been intriguing the neighborhood children.
