The meticulousness and professionalism of investigator Ulyana Sokolova were far from everyone’s liking in the capital, and there were people who helped bring about her transfer to the small, deeply provincial town of Andreyevsk. Having moved to her new spot, the heroine learns that the circumstances of her predecessor’s death are highly suspicious, so she decides to get to the bottom of the story, unaware of the interests of what forces she will be affecting in the process.
