This virus was developed by Afghan terrorists. So far, it is spread only through blood, but it cannot be ruled out that it will soon be transmitted by airborne droplets as well. Platov’s group, together with a virologist, is sent to Afghanistan. Their goal is to obtain samples and documentation on the virus, after which the laboratory will be destroyed.
