Not long ago, Tanya had everything: dreams of working at a school, parents, a younger sister, and her fiancé Sergey. A car accident took away her dearest friends and family, while her jealous friend Olya ruined the engagement and closed the doors of all the city’s schools to her. Left alone, Tanya moves to the remote village of Polyany in hopes of starting life anew. There, she meets little Lena, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her younger sister. Soon Tanya learns the child’s secret, which confronts her with a difficult choice.
