Vera works as a librarian and worries about her unsuccessful personal life. But a meeting with a gypsy woman turns her familiar world upside down, transporting her to an alternate reality. Here, the lonely Vera is married, has a son, and is also in a romantic relationship with her first love, Anton. However, even here the heroine has not found happiness and has even doomed her friends and family to suffering.
Now Vera must come to terms with her mistakes in this altered reality and find the path to true happiness.
