The two-part movie «The Fujita Mystery» presents a new investigation by detective-mathematician Olga Barkovskaya. This time, the sister of her new acquaintance, a fiancé from work, has been murdered. The young woman taught business basics courses for mothers, and her death came as a surprise. Soon after the murder, the victim’s brother began receiving notes supposedly from his sister, and Olga immediately noticed the numbers in them. It turned out that the numbers were instructions for folding origami according to the rules of mathematician Fumiaki Fujita. Together with investigator Svetlana Kartashova, Olga folds these paper figures, and they provide a clue in the search for the killer. But what is the mysterious sender of the notes trying to achieve?
