We present to your attention another investigation by mathematics professor Olga Barkovskaya. At the beginning of this story, an unknown person shoots and kills historian Yuri Zakharov with a pistol. Zakharov does not resist in any way and even waits for his killer. Before his death, Yuri managed to prepare puzzles in the form of Japanese sangaku. He sent the first puzzle to his former son-in-law, Igor Vorobyov, and the man immediately became the main suspect. When Barkovskaya learns that her former husband Igor is suspected of murder, she decides to help him and takes on solving Zakharov’s puzzles.
