At the end of the working day, Pochekayev, the head of the “National Trust” bank, receives a call from an unknown person informing him that one of his bank’s branches has been seized. Masked criminals have taken visitors and employees hostage and are demanding access to Pochekayev’s personal safe-deposit box, where certain documents are kept.
