The first season of the Russian crime Series «Zona», which can be watched online in our online cinema with free access, starting from any of its fifty episodes, tells the stories of people connected with prison in one way or another. The Series touches upon the stories not only of hardened criminals who deservedly ended up in prison, but also of those who found themselves behind bars because of an error, stupidity, or a setup. In addition, it depicts the lives of people on the other side of the bars—the chiefs and ordinary employees of the penal colony. Therefore, the Series contains two storylines. The first follows operative Bagrov, who is investigating the alleged suicide of Veller, the former head of the operational department, while the second tells of prisoner Pavlov, who ended up behind bars on suspicion of a murder he did not commit.
