At the center of events is Kulpash, the eldest daughter-in-law in the house, who believes she knows the right way to live. She tries to settle family conflicts, guide her relatives, and maintain order in the village, but her methods rarely work out as intended. Her friend Katalok, always ready to agree and mix everything up, and her brother-in-law Naconai, who lives in his own world and has no intention of growing up, are always nearby. Any little thing, from neighborhood gossip to a family dinner, turns into a small adventure in which Kulpash has to display miracles of ingenuity. But behind all this bustle lies a simple wish: for everyone to be well-fed, happy, and not quarrel.
