The first season of the Soviet war mini-Series «The Battalions Request Fire», which can be watched online in our online cinema with free access, starting with any of the four episodes, tells the story of two battalions attempting to distract the German army. The mini-Series is set in the autumn of 1943. Soviet troops are desperately trying to recapture the Dnieper from the enemy. To retake the river, the Soviet command sends two battalions tasked with diverting the enemy’s attention. Without artillery support, the battalions are doomed to die. The battalions struggle to hold on and await artillery assistance. However, the command unexpectedly changes the offensive plan completely, and both battalions are left to their fate.
